Straightforward to Challenging

Equinoxe Shoulder Humeral Solutions offer anatomically shaped implants for patients with significant humeral bone loss. They are designed to enhance humeral lateralization and deltoid wrapping with the goal of improving joint mechanics and overall shoulder stability.

Equinoxe Shoulder Humeral Solutions Features and Benefits

Equinoxe Humeral Augmented Tray (HAT)

The HAT, used in combination with the Equinoxe Reverse Shoulder System, is designed to address proximal humeral bone loss in patients who have an intact medial calcar, irreparable or grossly deficient rotator cuff and a functional deltoid muscle.

Stability

Designed to redefine tuberosities, and improve joint mechanics and stability by providing increased deltoid wrapping and adequate soft tissue tensioning

Multiple Options

Includes standard, lateralized and extra-lateralized options and +0 and +5 offset humeral trays

Modular Extension

Optional 17mm modular extension can be added to the stem and secured with a locking screw

Compatibility

Used in combination with the Equinoxe fracture or platform stems

Equinoxe Humeral Reconstruction Prosthesis

This modular stem design was created to treat patients with challenging and complex humeral bone loss, as well as for anatomic oncology application.

Modularity
  • Accommodates humeral resection lengths from 50 to 222.5mm
  • Provides midsections with soft tissue attachments (25mm, 50mm, and 75mm)
Soft Tissue Reattachment

Includes soft tissue fixation options on midsection and proximal bodies

Biomechanics

Proximal bodies are designed to restore locations of rotator cuff muscle insertions with the goal of increasing deltoid wrapping and moment arms to improve biomechanical stability.1-3

Rotational Stability

Unique plasma/ HA coated collar designed to provide external fixation and rotational stability

Clinical Evidence

A multi-center retrospective study, the largest of its kind, demonstrated:4

  • Significant improvements in pain, range of motion (ROM) and patient-reported outcome scores (PROMs)
  •  Zero cases of humeral component loosening over a two-year minimum follow-up
