The Alteon® Tapered Wedge Femoral Stems incorporate specific design features intended to achieve immediate axial and rotational mechanical stability between the medial and lateral cortices of the femoral canal.

The Alteon® Tapered Wedge Femoral Stem is a press-fit implant designed to provide immediate axial and rotational stability across all primary femur types, including Dorr A, B, and C. With optimized proximal/distal geometry, incremental sizing, and a shorter stem option to designed to reduce distal potting, it offers surgeons greater flexibility without compromising technique. Paired with the streamlined instrumentation, this system supports efficient workflows and precise fit for a wide range of patients.
