Anatomical.
Redefined.

With more than 20 years of clinical use,1-3 the Equinoxe Primary Shoulder System provides data-driven clinical solutions for anatomic shoulder arthroplasty designed for surgeons. From bone preserving stems to a variety of glenoid options to the latest surgical technologies, the portfolio provides a breadth of solutions to meet patients’ aTSA needs.

Equinoxe Primary Shoulder System Features and Benefits

aTSA Stem Options

Variety of options designed for straightforward and challenging anatomic shoulder cases

Equinoxe Stemless Shoulder
  • Designed for bone conservation
  • Laser 3D-printed porous surface allows for biologic fixation
  • Unique central bone cage engineered to allow for bone-through growth

Equinoxe Preserve Stem
  • Shorter platform stem designed to preserve distal humeral bone
  • Plasma and grit blast coatings designed for initial fixation
  • Polished distal tip designed to facilitate stem removal if necessary
  • Full length fins designed for rotational stability

A retrospective study at two-years follow-up demonstrated a low revision rate and low prevalence of humeral stems at risk of radiographic loosening with the Preserve Stem in aTSA procedures.4

Equinoxe Platform Stem
  • Stem designed for use in anatomic and reverse applications without stem removal
  • Used with the humeral head and patented replicator plate; replicator plate allows for retroversion, neck angle, medial and posterior offset adjustments– without trialing or back table assembly.5-7

Glenoid Solutions

Variety of options designed for straightforward and challenging anatomic shoulder cases

Equinoxe Laser Cage Glenoid
  • Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene is directly compression molded to the 3D-printed bone cage and peripheral pegs
  • Tested under extreme fatigue loading conditions –withstood 200,000 cycles at 225lbs11
  • 2x greater peg shear resistance and 5x higher peg pull-off strength vs. all-poly glenoids10-11
  • 4x reduction in radiolucent lines compared to all-poly glenoids10
  • 3D-printed pegs and central cage create porous regions that are optimized for pore size, count and porosity. This allows for initial and biologic fixation on the pegs and bone-through growth on the central cage. The Laser Cage Glenoid is intended for cemented fixation.

Augmented Options
  • 8° and 16° options available
