Chris Roche was named Senior Vice President of Extremities at Advita Ortho in July 2021. He joined the company in 2003 and has designed and developed numerous medical devices since that time, including the Equinoxe® Platform Shoulder System, the fastest-growing shoulder arthroplasty system in the world since 2004.
Roche received a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Mercer University, a master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Kentucky, and a master’s in business administration from the University of Florida. He has authored more than 150 manuscripts, ten book chapters and one ASTM testing standard, in addition to presenting more than 300 posters/podiums across the world. He is also listed as an inventor on more than 17 issued patent families. In 2025, Roche was elected into the prestigious American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering College of Fellows.
